Today my friends is the last day of summer for tomorrow we will celebrate the first day of Fall. Today is the last day of more daylight than dark of night. The warm southerly breeze will now begin to shift its direction to a cold north wind, allowing the cold arctic air to reach my beautiful southern home. The summer is my favorite season and in years past I have mourned the passing of summer to fall but today I will celebrate. Here’s to you my most favorite season, I will see you again in June.
